Yes, but then it burns at half-brightness, right? And probably takes even longer to charge.
The specs says battery is 4 Ah x 7.3V and the DC adapter is only 5V 2A. So... (4x7.3)/(5x2) = 2.92 hours. Add losses = 4 hours. Now since the battery is only 29.2 Wh and that runs the light for just under 2 hours... it's 15W. So the DC adapter can't even power the light for 100%. :-X
Bosch sells these things too, but with 18V battery. With two batteries and even the slow 4A charger you can keep light on 24/7. Don't ask me how I know [tongue]
Even midrange phones charge faster.
