What to put on top of the CT?

I put my cleaning set on top of my CT 22 so that it's always with me on installs! In the shop, I built a work center that sits on top of that CT 22!

I have a few Festool sanders, but don't place their Systainers on my CT. Instead, I put a 4-drawer Sortainer on top of my CT to store my cleaning accessories. Actually, I have scaled up from that 4-drawer unit to the Tanos 5-Drawer Systainer IV so it will house more of my cleaning accessories. Perfect!

I don't tote around my systainer full of discs either. I will keep a variety of paper that I am using loose in the tray and get more when I'm ready to reload.

A Sortainer is my usual topper. In it I keep a tape measure, pencils, notepads, Toolie, a couple pieces of chalk, guide rail connectors and deflector, safety glasses, spare ear plugs (in case I forgot my ear muffs), a pair of Festool clamps, dust mask, a spare pair of AA batteries (for ear muffs radio), a 6” ruler, 3” adjustable square, and a couple other odds and ends.
This makes sure I have all the essential accessories for layout, setup, and safety.
Which CT do you have?
The reason I ask is that the CT26/36/48 have the recessed ‘garage’ space, into which you can install a cleaning set holder thing. That’s handy for holding the nozzles and tubes, etc, which would open up more drawers pace.
Like the previous poster, I got a 5-drawer Tanos Sortainer, and in the other big drawer I keep 2x CT tubes and a floor cleaning head. This is specifically for when I take my Midi elsewhere. My CT26 stays in my shop and I have the accessories in the garage space.

I find it the perfect place to keep the VacSys pump.
I keep the cleaning kit (prof, sys 4) on it, and on top of that I keep the Festool first aid systainer

When in prep mode, I like to have whichever sander I am into that day, and its abrasive systainer onboard. However, alot of the time, I take the systainers off and utilize the empty hose garage as a mobile tool tray that I can stick the sander and a few abrasives in, plus a host of other nonsystainerable essentials. For more intensive long term setups on similar tasks over a period of time, the WCR is really handy. As Alex notes, mobility and compact cubic space does sometimes take priority on jobsites.
Sometimes, the stackable nature is most beneficial in storage and transit. This week, I have had the CT26 and DTS400 stacked in my extra cab for those quick calls where I have to run out and do something. That combo in the truck can do alot of things on alot of surfaces.
