whats the template routing aid do

I just got an OF1400 and was looking at the accessories available and haven't got a clue how this might be used. Hoping you can shed some light on it.

It allows you to route a groove dead center along the edge of a board.

Ah thanks, the links helped. I couldn't make out the horizontal slots for adjusting the width between the guides to fit the stock so it didn't make sense to me.

Nope, comes in a cardbox box.

Nope, comes in a cardbox box.

Yes, that's how it came, but not how it resides.  [smile]  Must protect the expensive piece of plexi!  Systainer with foam.
