When is a new Kapex coming out?

I have the opportunity to purchase a kapex at a decent cost.  I am curious to see if Festool has a newer model or version coming out anytime soon.  Is one in the works?  Or are they going to keep the current design going for a while.

I am going to be upset if I buy this one and then this fall, a new model comes out that has better features/upgrades.

Typical product design cycle is about 5-7 years. I wouldn't expect to see anything for quite some time.

Ha! Did that with my DeWally on the second cut I ever made.  Serves it right for spraying sawdust everywhere whenever I use it.
