So I find myself in the High Wycombe area of the UK for the next week. Any suggestions on where I might find some good Festool dealers in the area? Recommendations for a NAIA wish list would be nice as well.

I did happen to see I missed a CMS TS Kit the other day that was being sold locally. That would have been a treat except for trying to get it back to Iowa.

Thanks

Karl

Try axminster tools and there's another called Isaac lords both shops are festool dealers and quite big.

Will you have a car if so let me know and I can recommend a few more that are further out.

I do have a car and have been enjoying my first bits of English driving. Ah, to drive a manual transmission again. I'm actually in Princes Risborough, which is not too far from High Wycombe.

Yeah very nice there I refurbed a couple of houses there.

The best place I would recommend is bunnys bolts (toolfest) in Woking. Warren who owns it will be able help you out. He stocks most festool stuff and you can contact him here. Just search toolfest.

Thanks for all the tips. Have made it to Isaac Lords so far. Will try Axminster and ToolFest on Monday.

I tried to download the Festool app but its tied to a different App Store Thant account is tied to. I guess I'll have to harass Shane into getting a version of the app into the US App Store. :)

Shane - any word on when something like this can happen?

Karl try contacting warren at toolfest he's an active member here , I doubt you will get a reply until Monday morning. He's your best bet as I think he pretty much stocks everything. Axminster is a big place they sell lots of stuff but I doubt they will have everything in stock.

Also Warren sells protool which you can't buy anywhere else.

Great. Thanks for the advice. I'm hoping to find some interesting bits that I can't get back in the states.

Wish I had known you were coming you could have bought some US tools this way. ;D

Lol. Yes, because there's so much we have that isn't available in the UK. ;)  It always surprises me how Toolies go for in the States. Seems like they sell for 2 or 3 times their cost on eBay.  But of there's something I can bring next time, don't hesitate to ask. :)

I'll gladly make that happen if you like. Send me a PM and i can let you know when the next trip is.

We always bring extra luggage and carry on's for just such case. My wife always loads up on P&G tips and various candies for the trip home. Seems like we use one whole suitcase for that.  Makes for fun in customs.

K

Yeah I don't blame you our candies are better than yours ;D

I was in Orlando Christmas 2010 and it seemed like everything had peanut butter in :D

Thanks for the offer I will keep in touch, I can't remember what it was I wanted but I'm sure I'd find something small for your next trip. Cheers

JMB,

Did you buy your Woodpecker square in the UK?

If so, from where? What size is it?

I have been watching/reading the thread about the limited run Woodpecker are going to be doing of their 600mm/24" square, and from what I've read, it looks like a really good bit of kit......!!!!!!!

I tried to buy about £500  worth of woodpecker stuff in the UK  but the  UK woodpecker Dealer is a total arse hole UK DEALER     So in the end I ended up getting it from Ken Negrod  use to be a member here on FOG till he got banned.

I have his Email so you can contact him.  He got my woodpecker stuff to me in perfect condition!

Ruthlands  Sells woodpecker stuff but not alot.
