I'm ready to sell my TS55 and TS75 and buy the new TS60.

Where are they? Why aren't they for sale in the US?

Take my money, already!!

Are you sure it will be available there? It's on the shelves down here in Aus, but don't see it anywhere on the Festool USA site.

Well, seeing as you have been a member here since 2007 it should not come as any great surprise that the North American market has historically never been an early recipient of a product launch.

They're probably doing focus testing and deciding bump back launch to remove the dual imp/metric scale in favor of just an imp scale for NA.

Last time I heard unofficially from a local dealer, the TS60 should be here (for pre-ordering?) by the fall. If I'm looking for a track saw, I'd definitely wait. And if I had both a TS55 and a TS75, I'd sell one of them NOW.

Except for that goofy CXS12 that's been wandering around the Festool Live events recently, of course...  [blink]

Knowing our luck, we'll still be one of the last markets to get it.  [crying]

I wonder what pricing in the U.S. will be for just the tool (no guide rail).

I hope the depth scale will be in mm’s as pictured instead of the bastardized inches they’ve been using on US saws.

I was entirely kidding about going all inches :P

At least they put the mm on the settings marker side.

Thanks, everybody. Will get my order in just as soon as I sell my two older saws.

But they put the numbers above / under the line instead of right next to the line, where they belong.

Imperial units should have died long ago. If only Napolean had visited the USA  [tongue]

Oh, and companies need to stop making up dumbass units. Like Shimano; "Recommended wheelnut torque; 3-4,5 kNcm". Yes great. How about you just write 30-45 Nm  [huh]

k = multiple by 1000
c = divide by 100

Just a heads-up that the UK 110-volt version of the TS60 doesn't have a Plug-It connector - the cable is hard-wired into the motor housing. I'm guessing that US versions will be the same. If this is super-important to you, maybe check this with your US dealer before you order.

What kind of monster cable is that? It looks like a small garden hose.
