Ok I bought the circle cutter and guide rail base for my carvex and now they do not have a home. Also, I have noticed that other accessories have homes for some of the accessories like on the OF1400 the edge guide has a spot in the systainer but the guide rail attachment does not have a systainer home?

#1 Why is this?
#2 Where do people store attachments like this?

I just threw my guide rail stop in the systainer with everything else.

That is where i ended up putting my edge guide.

I just wonder why it does not have a place in the systainer and the other did.

Also the circle cutter and the guide rail adaptor base does not have enough room in the carvex systainer.

I recently bought a MFT/3 and didn't know what to do with all of the accessories that come with the table (miter gauge, fence, etc) and the additional accessories I bought for it. So I ended up buying an extra SYS3 to store this stuff with the exception of the fence (it's just too long to put into any systainer but I was going to try storing it with some guide rails in a "guide rail tote bag").

"Also the circle cutter and the guide rail adaptor base does not have enough room in the carvex systainer."  I think that is because they both have a spot in the accessories systain that you can buy when you buy the saw along with a bunch of other bases and pads.

I would guess that is because they have the complete accessory kit in its own systainer

A mft sustainer would be a good fit. You could keep a clamp in there with your other two accessories. Then you would have a mini table to cut things on the fly. It would latch to the bottom of your carvex case for easy transport. Maybe add some thin foam to hold the pieces from damage.

Well I did not know that about the accessory systainer for the carvex came with them. Well I guess that makes sense, I never thought it would be sold separately and in the accessory systainer.

tons of things can fit into systainers- sys 5 if needed for larger items. it is expensive but handy and super organized. now i try not to own any tools that won't fit in them. if you are in a big city/small apartment situation, or need good mobility, it is money well spent. nice to change out t loc handles for different colors for identification. clients think you are some sort of weird genius when you show up with a great looking tool system, too...

I don't have first-hand experience with this and Festool, but when I was in IT I had what I called a 'geek kit' that had lots of cable adaptors which I would use to service Mac's and printers and the like. It never failed to elicit a positive response, so I'm sure the Systainers would make an even BIGGER hit.

I am up to 20 Systainers myself, with at least 6 of those waiting to be fitted for non-Festool items. Last time I ordered I included one of each size (empty) to play with, and I see uses for many more!
