I reckon it must be a newer one as the attachments on top look like they are for the T-Loc Systainers.

Is it ? He's got a good set up . Had a chat with him and Ron at the d&m tool show last year

I used to have a ct22 and its a great vac.  My only issue I had with it is that its big shape made it a pain to take in and out of customer homes.  I sold it and bought a midi.  I sold mine for $150 and have seen them for sale for around $150-200.  So for that price its a great vac for a shop vacuum.

Hey Chubby
I can confirm that the machine under the CS70 is as mentioned a CTL22 I bought two of them long ago and they are still going strong
the second one is not in the pic but works with the boom arm also in the pic is a CTL 36 under the Kapex and a midi all great machines
Hope this helps

[size=14pt]. . . and it still keeps on going and going.

Although we have a Midi, my CT22 is still the main vac in the a Untidy Shop. The midi being more portable moves around the house for various tasks.

Got my CT22 as part of a package when the Domino was first released- both have been impressive through the years.  Thanks to the recon sale I now have two more vacs- Mini and CT36AC. The Mini is dedicated to the Kapex which allows the CT22 to be the workhorse under the MFT3.  My lungs thank me everyday!  [smile]

Hello all and thanks for the replies [thumbs up]

I have a Festool CTL Midi from 2009 (Though still in as new condition, this is because I am a very slow DIY'er!!!!!) and of course from that age it has the attachments on top for the older style systainers:

I have purchased newer Festool items since, that came in the new style systainers, and noticed that the old style snap locks on my Midi do not hold the newer style systainers very well. I had toyed with the idea of purchasing a CTL 26 and to use the Midi solely for the Kapex. However, to my wallets delight, I discovered this thread on Friday which means my Midi can be refreshed and I cannot really justify purchasing a CTL 26 as well:

I am now currently waiting for delivery of this T-Loc Midi top  [big grin]

I attended Axminster Tools at Nuneaton last Wednesday, and saw the new style Midi's on display. I also seen what I mistakenly thought of as new fixings on top of the larger vacuums (CTL 26 etc) that could hold the new style systainers in a different manner to the Midi's, and hence when I saw the vacuum in the top pictures I thought it was a newer one  [embarassed]

My situation is similar.  My CT22 is almost 12 years old and it permanently lives in my (also untidy  :-[) woodworking shed  where both a Festool Boom Arm and a Festool WorkCentre are mounted upon it.

My CT Mini is used both in the house and on on-site jobs.
