I am looking to buy a Systainer to keep 5" sanding pads, #497685

On one website I see the insert has 6 'holes' or wells where the paper would lie horizontally. On another site I see an insert where the paper would sit vertically.

Which is the actual insert? I would think the horizontal one would work better. Any info appreciated. THANKS

This is the picture on the CPO website

This is the picture on Amazon, Festool USA and at least one other dealer site

The picture with the 6 flat spaces is the SYS-STF-RO 90 DX (497687) which is for the Rotex RO 90.

The other one is an example which shows up on all Festool websites.
It's actually the SYS-STF 93X178/93V which is meant for the RS 300 which is NAINA.

The one for the RO 125 is the SYS-STF D125 (497685) and has 5 flat spaces, see below.

copcar, Welcome to the FOG!  [smile]

As a general note the pictures in catalogs and on many sites  for the abrasives inserts are often representitive examples. They are of an actual insert but maybe not the correct one.  I even have one  that is for  type 'x' abrasive, but the Systainer label that came on it,  shows a different type in the picture.

As Neeleman pointed out, it has 5 horizontal spaces and the number is 700848. It costs $9.95.
