Who lives in the Allentown, PA area?

I will visit a friend in Allentown PA in October. I would love it to visit one or two FOG members to exchange idea's and have a talk. I'm a not very experienced hobby woodworker, working on just 2 x 5 meter. I like a view into the workshops of other Festool users. A lot of pictures of your workshops made me drool.

Maybe you want to start up an Allentown "Festool Fest"?

The concept has been floating around for a couple of weeks here in the forum.  Shane Holland started it up in this discussion.

It is my first visit to Allentown, even to the US and being the visiting party, I don't think it appropriate to organize something. I hope to meet however a few FOG members. I feel I have a lot to learn, especially about the tools not available in Europe.
When all goes to plan, I will visit Allentown again in spring next year.

Hi, Wim.  Compared to Holland, I'm close to Allentown.  Just outside of Philadelphia, I'm less than 100km from Allentown as the crow flies, but due to the way the roads run through the valleys, it's almost a two hour drive.  (Sorry, I don't know how to convert time to metric units  )  You and your friend are welcome to visit, but I can't assure you that my modest workshop would be worth the drive.  I can PM you more info, some pics and so forth, that might help you decide.  Please give me a few days, I have relatives visiting for the weekend.

Do you like bicycling?  The nearby Lehigh Valley Velodrome will be closed for racing in October, but there are still some nice country roads for riding in that area, and not all are hilly.
