Ready for my painter to finish some prep work and get it all sprayed.

New door casings (jambs built out), crown moulding, and paneled wainscoting.

The lighting is horrible, sorry about that.

Part of this will be new fixtures and some eye ball can lights to shine on art work and pictures on the walls.

Walls, ceiling and all trim will be painted.  Doors are being left stained (now possible CO for all new doors).

Nice Darcy.  Hard to tell, but it looks like you did cope and stick on the frames with small trim surrounding the panels?  Will you be adding base or shoe?

Looks great.
Those doors don't look like they work in that space anymore.

I was thinking pocket screws and panel mold.

Looks good Darcy.

Pocket screws and 1/4" panels rabbeted into the backs of the 3/4 rails and styles.

I added a beaded detail to the insides of the panels.  168 pieces of that [mad]

No additional base or shoe as of now.  I scribed these panels to the floor.  They are thinking about replacing the flooring [mad] and I may have to add a shoe or something at the bottom.

The hall had a 1" drop in the center of the T, from all 3 ends.

Is that carpet on the floor? Hopefully if they change the flooring they don't screw up the bottom of your rails.

If the flooring gets replaced, I will be doing all the work and I told them it would be about 2x's the price it would have been if we did before hand.

They are thinking about wood and I will have to remove the 1/2" particle board that is over the 3/4" ply and then put down 1/2 ply.
I will then have to put in some sort of shoe moulding or something.

Walls, ceilings, jambs, trim and wainscoting is all painted.

Home owners have already went out and bought new lights, some art work, frames and some other stuff to hang on the wall.

Also did 4 1/4" red oak crown in the living and dining room.

Couple before's and afters, took 3 days to stain, cut backers, install and fill nail holes.

Really nice work.  That's a lot of wainscotting!  Nice work and paint job!

Haha, that's what I thought. It looks awesome though, a lovely job.

Did they decide to change the floor yet?
Tim

They decided to hold off until the carpet is worn and needs replaced.

They will have me do wood in there when the time comes.
