Why Do I Never Get Notified?

I never get notified of replies?  I check to notify box, but it never seems to work.

It goes to your spam folder.

I use Gmail and sometimes the FOG notifications randomly go to the Promotions tab even if the exact same thread notification had previously been in the Primary tab.

Thanks.  I found them and moved them to my Inbox.  Hopefully they won't be seen as Spam now.
