Why is the TS 75 making so much saw dust and the CT 26 not catching?  Is it because of the size hose that comes with the CT26?
 
Just received my new CT 26, MFT/3 and TS 75.  Got everything all set up and made a few test cuts and noticed a lot of saw dust coming from the TS75 and not being caught by the CT 26.  Is that normal?
 
1. I believe that you setup vacuum's suction to the  highest level, correct?
2. Check if hose doesn't have any clogs in it
3. Sacrificial sheet good underneath improves dust suction  significantly. Usually it is MFT top, but piece of plywood or 2x4 will work fine.

36 mm hose REALLY improves dust collection.

The CT26 includes a 27mm AS hose, which will fit onto all common Festools. Some will only accept the 27mm hose, such as OF1010 and MFK700 routers, jig saws, Domino 500 and the sanders.

The 36mm AS hose is an option. It fits over the outside of the Kapex, TS55 and TS75 dust extraction port, and fits the same way on the hand planers, OF1400 and OF2200 routers.

I always recommend using the 36mm AS hose with both Festool track saws. You will get better dust extraction, but more to the point, the somewhat less flexible 36mm hose is far less likely to hang up on guide rails. With sanders you need flexible movement in all directions. However, a track saw is only moving forward in a straight line. This is the whole point of a guide rail.

Another reason for the 36mm hose is improved performance with the cleaning tools. You can simply buy a 36mm AS hose, but the deal so many of us make is to buy the version of the Tradesman Cleaning set that includes many cleaning tools plus a 36mm AS hose. Now after the job is done or the shift ends you can quickly clean up any mess not extracted from the tools. On the job not every tool is made by Festool. Even hand tools can create mess.
 
Like VictorL said, make sure that there is something sacrifical under the panel you're sawing so the dust can't escape downward.
Also, try covering the hole in front of the arbor, so that you have a fully enclosed blade.
(I'm guessing further enclosing the blade might help. The Mafell MT55 doest this and has significant better dust collection. [eek] I know I know blasphemy)

There's a thread where someone used sticky velcro tape and a piece of plexiglass, that looked pretty slick & functional.
There's also a metal accesory available for the TS55 which serves this purpose but then you can't use the splinterguard. Not sure if it'll fit the TS75 though, anyone who knows?

I just recived my new 36mm hose and let me tell you. It makes a big diffrence in dust collection on my TS 75.
Now the only real dust is at the end of the cut. I would say the 36mm hose is a must.

With the TS-55, if you're trimming just the edges, you will generate dust that cannot be captured.

It will be if the cuts are further into the width of the stock.
 
Festool makes 36mm antistatic (AS AKA green hose) and non-antistatic (AKA gray hose) hoses. Non-antistatic is much cheaper, but still works well.

I guess I'll have to break down and buy the Contractor cleaning kit w/36m hose.  Thanks to all for the great advise.

The Bosch VAC005 35mm 5 meter non-antistatic hose also works with Festool tools and dust collectors.

That accesory is called absa -ts55, and the parallelguide which mounts in the same manner is called a pa - ts 55, in the accesories list for the ts 75 I can only find the pa - ts75, so I don't think there's a version available for the ts75.
