Will a CT22 be powerful enough to handle the dust from a MM16 Bandsaw?

I know its not ideal, I live in a condo and have  tiny workspace below.  DC simply won't fit, but the bandsaw does!  I need some sort of dust extraction.  I moved and use festools almost exclusively, but I'm happy to have my bandsaw back in my life.  I'm wondering what kind of job it will do with reducers etc.

Pretty bad IMHO..

You get two key extractions designs, one for high differential pressure (most the Festool handtools), and the other high volume lower pressure (used in bandsaws, jointers etc). I would guess the bandsaw is going to have a 4"/100mm dust extraction port, so is looking for the high volume.

It won't work well at all.  Like Matt indicated, high static pressure vs. high flow are almost always mutually exclusive.  This is also the reason a dust collection system doesn't work all that well with hand held tools.

FYI, you need 600-1000 CFM to get full extraction for a tool like a bandsaw (including ultra-fine particles). Last I checked my CT can do 134 CFM (max). You might be some of the biggest chips with your CT, but you'll miss a bunch of the big chips and probably almost all of the fine/super-fine particles.

Do you have a closet or something where you could cram a DC and pipe it to your workspace?

Agree with those above that the CT22 (or 33 for that matter) just isn't the right gadget for this application.

If space is the issue, can you mount the DC on the wall or ceiling?  BTW, the footprint of the portable DC's is not much bigger than that of a CT....

Bummer, it is basically a closet.  I should post pictures of its sheer ridiculousness.  I suppose I can get a small 15Amp DC as opposed to my Delta 220 and mount it somewhere.  Thanks for the replies guys!
