It is funny you mention that.
I took my hand off the mouse when I saw the blade moving and moved it to the left side of the keyboard.

We, in the States, do not get the CMS saw module so I didn't know if there was supposed to be a splitter and blade guard.

Yes, along with top mount DC.

To each their own, but I only operate mine with the guard.

I have a plastic but realistic torn off thumb hanging over my table saw on the light switch cord. Makes me think about safety before I power up the saw.

I really have too little space , but a great desire to create . My CMS blade guard , but I removed because I do not see well the piece of wood ( perhaps wrong )
