Yes you are to late. They we're suppose to ship at the end of last month.

I suggest you call woodpeckers,  sometimes they have a few extras of stuff that they can sell..    if they have no more 18" triangle you can ask them about metric versions, 18" square, 26" square, 12" triangle      if all that fails they have a 12" square model 1281 that they offer year round

the wait list is a standby thing , if there are any left over after they ship out all the orders ( there is always some who cancel, their CC# is not valid & so on)
then if any items remain they start with the wait list .
So No telling , but they are soon to ship the one-time run of these , So if I get shipping notice soon then I got one .

December is the square.  The triangle is later this month.

While I'm waiting for both, I'm not on the "waiting list".  Just waiting for my orders to get produced.  I'm not sure what I'll do once I have both in my hands.  I'll most likely sell one or the other, but you never know.  It will certainly be well into next year before I make that decision.

I just got the shipping email on my 50" ruler order days ago  , these are now a stocked item . I have the squares on order for the one-time ,& am on the wait for the tri-angle

Mines the metric 45 CM version of the triangle. Dont know if it makes any difference. But when I checked my order status yesterday it said shipping late Jan. I got 2 triangles on order

if you ordered 2 different tools with different ship dates they hold till both are ready
I have the small tri-angles coming with the large  framer squares in Jan
