Sure. The Offset is a nice wider base but not necessary as an offset as Dominos do not have to be centered on any material, merely referenced from a joining face on the two work pieces. If you must have an offset and like the larger base you can save a lot of money going with the tried and true Seneca Domiplate.
The parallel guides do nothing more than the Precision Dogs and Seneca versions except cost a ton more and will break down into a Systainer. All three options are better than the Festool system.
