I'm looking for some square and tools for measuring...i've found woodpeckers tools ( some in metric version ) but they are difficult to find in europe...

here they cost about a 25% more than in the states...

the quality is very good ? there's some comparable in europe ?

thanks.

I think that the Woodworkers Workshop do Woodpecker bits and pieces but you might also like to look at Incra for precision squares and measuring - again from Woodworkers Workshop.

There is one shop in Holland who also sells Woodpeckers: GereedschapPro.
Not all products are on stock but once in a while they order a bunch of stuff from Woodpeckers.
And I assume they also ship to Italy.

Well, Woodpecker is expensive. I read somewhere that Woodpecker sells the exact same thing as other (but in another color) for a lot more. Does anyone know of a cheaper quality brand in Europe that's comparable?

For squares - try an engineer's square, I have 6 inch and 12 inch, both made by Fischer. For a little more try an Incra Guaranteed Square. For marking then you cannot beat the Incra precision rules.  As I said before go to the Woodworkers' Workshop.

In answer to your question regarding Woodpecker quality, it is the very best. The tools are beautifully designed and built. They are expensive and well worth it.
