Festool worktop jig... bought one of these a few years ago and there brilliant... does anybody have any solutions about storing the jig? Is there a bag or box out there?

First, welcome to the FOG !

What worktop jig are you talking about?  The MFS template set?  I have two of the sets and made a box to store them in for protection.

If it's another item, explain and I'm sure you'll get plenty of replies.

Hi there, thanks for the reply.. it's the aps 900. I made a plywood template cut out and sits in a box for this and works okay but not great... kind of getting old and run down. I was interested to see how others got around this situation or if festool had a bag of some sort.

About 25 yrs ago I made a case for my Trend worktop jig, it looks like a wooden rifle case with a piano hinge and two briefcase type catches, it has kept that jig protected all this time through moves abroad, house moves and job sites/workshops.
Maybe making something like that would serve you well too.
I will get a pic of mine when back at work, away at the moment due to mother in law's death.

Rob.
