As a proud Wahoo, I was sorely disappointed in the outcome of tonight's CWS championship.  Great team (the best in the nation this year), great coach, great university---but baseball is a particularly cruel game, and Vandy won it tonight.

Ummmm. We go for it.

Because of the way that the Ghana vs Portugal game is going, we would need to lose by 5 goals to not advance.

If we go for it and beat Germany, I assume the there will be an impromptu Festool price increase!!

Great game today Netherlands vs Mexico.  I don't think Costa Rico will be much of a challenge even though they held off a terrible Greek team today with 10 men for almost 50 minutes.

I agree with you, Jack. Allemange looked like they were out to lunch during the few plays that I saw early. They seem to almost have a plan of wearing out their opponent and then attacking hard at the end when they sense weakness. It's working so far if that is what they are doing?

Tom,

Perhaps that was their plan but, they continued to play the ball up the middle and try just slant attacks and a few cross attacks.  Finally in overtime they started to take on the fullbacks one on one to create depth behind the defense and then they had some great scoring opportunities.  I love soccer played at this level [big grin]

I've only played with others that really didn't know how, but it was still very fun.

I can appreciate how skilled these teams are and how difficult it is...

I'd like to see USA & Oranje in the final.
