WOW is back … in the hospital.

wow, sorry to know you are in the hospital. I was wondering where you have been as I have actually read a couple of threads lately where you have not made a reply.  [poke] I thought maybe you had writer's cramp.  Stay calm and cool. We want you back in action.

Way back when i was 38, my wife and i went to Germany to visit with her family. Her mother had recently had a pacemaker installed and my wife was concerned that this trip would be her last chance to see her mom.

One evening, we were all (her sisters, niece & brother in law, nephews, girl friends and aunt or two and probably a few impostors who managed to sneak in to the crowd as well.  We were going to a restaurant that my wife knew had a long stairway just to get to the front door.  Of course, i found out later, you even had to go up more stairs to go out the back door.  It was a level area  [wink].

As we got to the restaurant, my mother-in-law started up ahead of everybody.  My wife started yelling at me to help her mother up those stairs. My reply, as i was huffing and puffing, was, "I will help!  As soon as I can catch up with her." That woman stayed ahead of all of us.  After all, she was only 90 or 91, I have forgotten.

Get well wow

Enjoy the downtime, WOW...

I can write more about how to suck less at painting if that will keep you preoccupied and chuckling.

[scared]

Scott:

Your comment also got a chuckle out of me. You don't HAVE to write more - unless you want to? - but I WILL go visit your site this afternoon. I've not visited yet, and think that needs to change.

And PLEASE post anything that's worth a chuckle!

Did they allow you to bring your own first aid kit?

If you have a spare kit hand it to your nurse, take a picture of the look and post it.

Best to you.

Glad to see you back, unfortunately from a hospital bed.  Have you figured out how many power tools it will take to get the gurney mobile so you can cruise around?

Best wishes for a speedy recovery Wow.

And you are right, stress really messes with your body.  Don't let the bad stuff rent space in your head.

Glad you are back!

Stress is a HUGE problem for me, and I'm very disappointed in myself for letting it become an issue. I am better than that, especially since I know what happens, and I should have dealt with it better. Mea culpa!

I really like your line "Don't let the bad stuff rent space in your head." That's great advice. Is it a "Jesse Cloud" original?

Thanks, Tinker! That's the plan...

If it helps...I got my WOW-stainer kit and I think it's top notch!  Thanks for it and the work you put into it.  The adhesive on the band aid's is first rate!  Sorry you're not well.  Maybe an ablation? is your answer.  I do have some paramedic background, but I'm not a cardiologist, so it's possible I can explain something if it's unclear.  If I can help in any way...please do not hesitate to ask.

I wish great things for your recovery!!
