YouTuber likes the Bosch 6" Rotex equivalent as much

These mostly uninformed 30 minute influencer sermons about almost anything is bullsh*t. It's much better to have representatives of the actual designing company explain their product. So often you see videos where the guy making the video simply doesn't understand some function of the device they are talking about.

It's funny how he rips the Bosch for not coming in a proper box. But in Europe the GET 150 is also sold in L-Boxx.

I actually wish Festool had options to skip the Systainer for their tools. They're great for mobile contractors, but in a shop they mostly just slow down access.

They had that. Never part of any promotion, nowhere in stock and nobody bought them.

Here's another video to trigger yourself! This time he takes on Mafell.
I swore the Domino was the "most over-hyped" tool in woodworking. Guess that was last month.

Yes, titles like that trigger me.

Also, I love that he comments on the lack of front handle and then shows clips of how he wasn't using the front handle on any of the other tools that have one. Stopped after 3 minutes because I needed to do something else. Might watch the rest later tonight while I'm doing dishes or something.

I cannot watch his videos either. The one that @onocoffee posted came across my feed. I simply marked as not interested. In fact, I attempt avoid videos and channels which contain video titles like “you are doing XYZ wrong”, “new domino killer for under $100”, ‘build cabinets the easy way in like 5 minutes’’, “99% of people don’t know XYZ’, or whatever other hyperbolic title they pick in an attempt to get people to watch.

I find lots of good content without needing to watch these channels. When looking for something new, I often go tot he FOG thread on favorite YouTube channels and see what other around here like.

I ignore videos with titles like that as well any title with "hack". Likewise, I ignore what should be complex build videos that are less than 30 minutes long. I usually click "Don't recommend channel" for these.

The Bosch GET75-6N is my main sander 🤷‍♂️
I bought a used GET75-6N back in December when I had to return my friends RO150. The Bosch is a great sander - though I did get a used RO150 recently and while I have always liked the RO150, when I put them head-to-head, I think I might like the GET75 a little more... (hopefully, Peter won't kick me off the board for that!).

I realize that your comment was said jokingly, or at least I hope it was, my post wasn't about the Bosch sander, but rather about a particular YouTube content creator.
