30mm hose for a Midi?

Is there a way to change the 27mm hose to a 30mm hose on the Midi? I plan on purchasing a Kepex and would like the better dust extraction. Or are there other option besides purchasing another dust collection machine.

Welcome to the forum!  [smile]

The D36 hose will fit but it will stick straight up from the port since there is no 90 elbow for the D36 hose. This is a common way to connect DC to the Kapex using a shortened D36 hose. And having the hose stick straight up is a benefit for Kapex use.

Onieda has anti static right angle fitting that will allow the use any of the Festool hoses.

I have a Midi and up until recently have been using the 36mm hose with it. The suction is so much better than the 27mm, certainly recommend it. You can still put systainers on top too. 

Am just upgrading to ctm26 with a 7 metre 27mm hose but want the 36 back?  [sad]
