36mm and Mini

Darn...I wish then Festool would make a cleaning kit that would work with the 27mm hose [unsure]

All Festool cleaning kits work with the 27 mm hose. (Except those special few items meant for the 50 mm hose)

Only problem with the 27 mm is that the suction is not as good as with the 36 mm hose. And that's the hose its fault, not of the cleaning kit.

But I use the 27 mm hose all the time with the standard cleaning kit and I have no real problems.

I have had the universal set for a few years and never bothered to try fitting it to the 27 hose. Does it just fit further into the handle?

Yep.

You can get about five feet of D36 into the Mini garage for Kapex use.

Ok, we'll that makes life a lot easier. I can use the smaller hose with the mini for small clean ups ( exactly why I wanted it). And I will leave the larger hose with my ct36 for the larger work and clean ups.

I'll take me D36 with me to use with my Mini, I'll just throw it on top of the vac.  It's worth the small amount of trouble carrying separately.

I see what you mean, I did some clean up with the smaller hose and it really does cut down on the suction.
