Ever since I bought my ETS EC 150 3, I've been wondering what to do with all the 5" abrasives from my old sander. Now, at least, I'll have a use for them.  I'm also anxious to try the 2mm stroke of this new sander.

Are you guys going to have any of the new locking style tool ends for the vacuum hose for sale too ?

As has been reported here at FOG, the current ends do not play nice with the locking ports on the new sanders . [sad]

Take the $99 price tag and subtract the $74 price of a Systainer 2, then subtract the price of a $44 Plug-it cord and you come up with a -$19 price tag. Who can't use an extra Systainer & extra Plug-it cord? Even if you never use the voucher...you're still ahead of the game. [popcorn] [popcorn]

Since you can now use this sander without having to knock the suction down on the other collectors - I assume this will work well with a CT SYS portable?

Welcome to the forum.

Festool has redesigned the pad on these new sanders to help reduce any issues from suction being too high from the vac. So, yes, you should be able to use it with the CT SYS without issues. [member=57769]TylerC[/member] can confirm.

Yep. The CT SYS is a good option for the PRO 5 LTD. You shouldn't have issues.

Ditto for me!  Wait a minute- I don't plan on doing any more drywall.... I guess I have a Y connector on my vac- use two sanders at once!!  [big grin]
