The sander will ship on 11/1. The voucher will expire on 12/31 of 2017.

As for the timing on the voucher, we need to get more details on that from Festool. But, I'm sure it will be timely.

All, just a heads up that the $99 sander also includes the bayonet-style dust port to retrofit your older hose and a sample pack of Granat abrasives. Woot.

Chatted online as I was placing my order to confirm I also get two vouchers. Got informed I do, but can only use one voucher per tool order and it is not valid on accessories.

Does the voucher stack if say buying a dust collector along with a tool to receive the 10% off along with redeeming the $50 voucher?

Yea, this seems crazy. It comes with the port to retrofit your old vac, the reusable dust bag, granat paper, systainer, and $50 voucher. The tool is pretty much free. The only other sander I have is a Rotex 125 and I've been trying to decide on a finish sander and bought this before I even got any answers. Fantastic deal.

Welcome to the forum.

Festool has redesigned the pad on these new sanders to help reduce any issues from suction being too high from the vac. So, yes, you should be able to use it with the CT SYS without issues. [member=57769]TylerC[/member] can confirm.

[member=41214]Phil Beckley[/member]. As Festool UK's only UK representative, I draw your attention to yet another good thing for US customers (I'm assuming Festool are in some way supporting this), alongside the recently closed Carvex 420 giveaway, Festool connect, etc.

In the UK, it's really starting to feel like we're the poor relations. I know this isn't directly your department, but maybe you could have a word with the powers that be, to do something to shove a boot up the a*&e of those who can either directly engage the forum internally from Festool or encourage the UK dealers to follow the example set by some of the US dealers!

Just saw the promotion and trying to make up my mind whether I should add this to my lineup.  I have the RO150 and the  RO90 already.  What can I do with this new sander that my current ones can't?  So far the pros I come up with are: shorter stroke, smaller size overall, voucher, low price.  The cons that come to mind:  not as versatile as those I have already, big outlay for new size consumables, not as powerful.  Can someone throw in a few points I have not thought of?--part of me still wants to get this.  Thanks
