A backsplash

Tom,

Beautiful work as usual.

You are an amazing individual and I am fortunate to witness the attention to detail and the willingness to help and offer advice beyond what readers here have experienced.

Best wishes for career number 3.  I hope that it turns out to be satisfying and profitable and that your wife will get more of a chance to spend time with the "kids".  You will be doing what you love to do - working and trying to creates experiences and memories for others.

All the best!

Only picture I currently have off the island. Worked on the splash until 7:30 Tuesday night, showed up to this 7:30 Wednesday morning.

I have to get pics of the butler and pantry ares.

Ummmm...Wow.

Had to take advantage of the cleaning ladies being there.

Absolutely stunning work, Tom.  In my spare time over the last couple months I've been building new kitchen cabs for my bride. I hope she doesn't see your work as she'll be less than happy with my efforts. Yours are beautiful.

Commented before but after seeing the new photos all I can add is

WOW!

Do you actually do all this by yourself?

Yes, 99% of what you see here was done by me. I believe I mentioned earlier in the thread Justin helped all his time would allow.

What you don’t see is what it took to get here. This kitchen was about 30 feet from where it is now. All the electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and gas line had to be relocated. I a licensed electrician so that’s easy, I have a friend who is a plumber, he signs off on the permit, my HVAC license has expired, but I did the relocation anyway.

I have to admit, I was not the one who completed the job.....the laundry room sink arrived damage—-twice. A friend went out and replaced the damaged sink with a new one yesterday, ultimately he finished the job...if he sends me a picture of the laundry finished, I’ll post it.

I did not do the counter tops on this job, I currently do not have the equipment to fabricate granite. If they were solid surface tops I would have fabricated them.

Today, the new chapter begins...(ignore the houses)

Gotta love 💕 the view. That’d be a pleasant start to the day with a cup of joe.

To bad my room faces east [sad]

I’ll have to grab the coffee and go sit on the veranda, good thing I get up early.
