A Festool Domino and a Festool Kapex were delivered here today

Here are a couple of pictures of me bringing them into my woodworking shed.

These are tools that I have admired for some time but have never been able to justify buying them.

I still have not justified their purchase (even though I have been able to justify the aquisition of more than 10 other Festool tools).  It turns out that the Domino and the Kapex are not mine. They belong to Dan Clermont. Dan will be demonstrating the Festool product line at the upcomming woodworking show in Toronto (Feb 27 to Mar 1). I have agreed to help Dan out where I can. He sent me these demo tools in advance so that I can familiarize myself with them before the show.

Frank, i know such a purchase takes a lot of thinking time before making final decision to buy.  I would be very happy to keep them out of the way for you while you do your thinking.  :

I already have a Domino Frank and I just got rid of my miter saw due to space constraints.  The Kapex is a definitely want, but I'll wait until I have a project that would justify the purchase (basement, reno, etc).

No cigars.    The tools will only be here for a couple of weeks, then they will be returning with Dan to their home in British Columbia.

I think I can get the rest of the demo tools onto one pallet and will be packing them up today.

Yes Dan, there is a MFK 700 router as well -but I don't find it nearly as interesting as the other two tools.

Nanaimo? Do you have more information on that? I would love to check it out!!!!!

I know it is March 20th and 21st and it will be in the local papers. I'll keep you informed and will forward any further info I recieve.

They will have someone from the Felder Factory in Austria and the General rep will be there as well. I plan to bring along a full line of demo tools for people to play with.
