I'm posting this again per Senior Hollands  request for video entries to be placed in the "How To" sections for member to find the video a little easier.  [wink]

This video shows how I go about achieving a glue ready edge on some Mahogany for raised panel doors.

The star of the show is the TS55 with the Panther Blade 14 teeth (495 372).

What a great video and very timely for me, as I am struggling to come up with a glue ready edge for some cabinets I am constructing.  My jointer, and probably my technique, has always been the weak link in my cabinet making.

Eric, all of your videos are extremely helpful, and in a way not so helpful.  I bough the LR32 system, holy rail, and OF1010 all based on your videos; in other words, not so helpful.  JK !

And lastly, for some strange reason, my wife, who couldn't give a rat's a** about woodworking, seems to be really captivated by your videos.

Keep up the great work !

The problem with stacking the panels is any tilt/bevel doubles, the added height increases the error. That is why the joint fit better when the board was flipped.

Your better off butting the edge of the boards and cutting the glue joint with the boards side by side.

+1.  I'd even go so far as to say that both boards should be planed to an identical thickness first, before jointing as Tom suggested.
