I'm pretty sure they don't exist- but wanted to query the database before I give up.  Anybody seen em?

I know the 1/4" ratchet set came with allen bits, but they were just 25mm bits for the bit holder.  I can't remember seeing any hex bits in 75 or 100mm in any of the other collections.

I'm assuming there's a use case where runout may be an issue and the full bit would be preferred to a regular bit in a Centrotec bit holder?

The installers set comes with a few Torx bits, but they are 100mm, not the usual 50mm. The rest are Philips, Pozi, etc. no Allen (hex)

If you can't find them in Centrotec, you can convert .25" versions to Centrotec by shaving the corners with a file and using a round file to create a groove for the retaining bearing to slip into. I did this years ago for some square drive drivers when (at the time) they were not yet available in the marketplace. Alternatively, you can use the Snappy Centrotec to .25" adapter which provides secure retention at the minor expense of about an additional 25mm of length from the end of the Centrotec "chuck". I use one of those for a variety of odd-ball things that rare use doesn't justify trying to go "native " Centrotec.

That's the original plan, but the lathe is still in storage since the move, and I'm short on time.  At this point, I'd just buy the damn things if I could.

Runout isn't the issue, it's clearance.  I need skinny bits.

Thanks guys
