Ik like my Syslite Kal ll and use it a lot. But the new one looks really nice and I think the moving head makes a big difference.
Does anyone have experience with the new one?

I've got it on pre-order but it's not arrived yet (in the UK).

I'm curious to hear initial feedback as well.

Anyone know where it's made?

The new Kal-C has 1200 lumen, so no.
But I saw an other new Syslite. The KBS C and that one has 5000 lumen [eek]

I'm in the US, so no access here yet. I have the DUO, which is fantastic, and glad to see the new light will mount to the tripods i already have.

I think what would be great is a mount adapter that would let you have two of these mounted, sending light in two directions like the DUO does.

Made in China. I grabbed a still from a video I saw online.

I was not familiar with Scangrip lights.  The company is located in Denmark, but I found no reference in their site as to which lights are made in Denmark and which parts are made in China, Vietnam, etc.

No doubt it was Hamlet’s favorite LED light.  [big grin]

If anyone is interested, this is their site: https://us.scangrip.com/en-us/shop/work-lights

No bargain-priced lights, but possibly still an excellent value.

From what I saw online, apparently a favorite of car detailing and car auto body repair shops.  I did not read enough of the write ups to determine why it is a favorite.

The Milwaukee lights would probably meet my needs and I am currently using their batteries for 4 other tools.  I don’t think I could justify the expense of the Scangrip lights.
