Just finished up a Valentines... o wait no didn't get it done in time... Mothers day yeah that's it, present for my spouse. Used quarter sawn white oak and scraps I had laying around the shop.  Used my cnc for the door panels. Dominoed the frame, doors and top together. really like the way it turned out.

Arts and Crafts Cabinet = Finished

Nice project!  The finish is great.

Please tell us about the original photograph you are holding in your hand and your thought processes about the changes you made to it in your build.

Those panels on the doors are sweet.
But why did you choose to put a poplar top on this?
Tim

I like your version compared to the one in the photo.
Your door size look much better than the small ones in the photo.

The original pic is from Arts and crafts Furniture Projects. Thanks, I figured I could hide a tv in it if I made it with only one drawer. I came across some wicked cool mineral streaked poplar that I really wanted an excuse to use. I don't think the color of the top comes through in the pics. I just ran some ebony stain on it to try to tie it into the front and sides.
