Attaching 36mm hose to midi?

I have midi and extraction works great but could use a bit of help with kapex. Heard that using a 36 mm hose cut down helps. Can I attach 36mm braided AS hose to midi? Does 36 mm help with other tools? Ideally get the 7m braided anti static hose, cut 6’ off for kapex and use the remainder for other tasks. Thanks in advance for the help!!

Yes the 36mm hose will work with the midi. Yhe larger hose also improves dust collection with the plunge saws or any tool that has a larger dust collection port.

Just keep in mind that you'll require the additional rotating adapters (487721 and 452894) for both ends which are ridiculously overpriced, so might actually be cheaper to find someone who's selling their tattered old hose and you'll just cut off the three feet you need but have those adapters for free  [wink]
