Bauer 14" Bandsaw Display

Happened to walk into my local Harbor Freight and they had the new Bauer 14" Band Saw on display.  I've been looking for a small bandsaw and had my eyes on the Rikon 10" Deluxe Benchtop Bandsaw but the Bauer 14" looked pretty interesting.  Anybody have any comments on the new Bauer 14" band saw -the good, the bad, and the ugly.

I was in HF this weekend and saw that bandsaw, along with other new Bauer releases. It seems it's so new there haven't been any proper reviews. For $499, with a cast iron table, bearing guided blade and movable stand it looks like that'll be one heck of a good entry level unit. No idea if the wheels are cast iron.

Did you see the Bauer scrollsaw? My girlfriend has a Pegas 21" and it's super nice but it was also in the $800 territory. That Bauer looks like it's most of the way there.

Yeah, I don't know about Band Saws but this Bauer 14" looks like a pretty decent saw to have in you DIYer or Hobbyist shop.  I'm seriously considering it.  I had the RIKON 10" Bench-top BS in my sights.  It also has a smaller footprint...
