Here is another project i'd like to share with you. Mondrian inspired birch wall.

That is kinda finnised project. I tryed to add some lightning, henging from the top, but it only disturbed the visual impression of the wall. "Less is more" works quiet well in this case.
I also would use this oppartunity to brag a little. The stipes, deviding the playwood are not painted on. I carved away with the router first 1,5 mm of the playwood sheet so one can se glou between the layers...  [embarassed]

One little trick when cutting the reveals is to place the depth of the cutting at an interior layer with the same grain orientation. Just did this for a restaurant on 3 walls, ply with reveals and a grid of pan head screws for the design.

Very cool project though.

That's nice trick! I havn't think about that! I too prefer visible screws. It got to be fastened some how, so why not show it? I deliberately used some bigheaded french screws, so they them self becomes a peace of design.
