Recently I bought a couple of Bessey KliKlamps which came in a Tanos anthracite TLock – systainer II.
Being it my first Tanos-systainer, I’m now the proud owner of
- grey/blue classic systainers with blue Festo print;
- blue/white classic systainers with white Festo print;
- grey /green classic systainers with green Festo print;
- grey /green classic systainers with green Festool print;
- black/yellow classic systainers with yellow DeWalt print (no tools / DeWalt print covered with black tape  ::) );
- grey /green TLock systainers with green Festool print;
- and the new anthracite / anthracite Tanos Tlock systainer.

Besides the KliKlamps I also bought a couple of Bessey Spacer AV2.
Two things made me rethink the storage of the Bessey-products:
- both clamps and spacers in the same TLock to save storage space
- being able to see the length of the clamps before taking them out of the systainer.
I wanted to have quick access to the clamps because they get fare more use then the spacers.

After thinking of different solutions and playing with the tools and cardboard I came up with the following solution, which I think wil explain itself with the pictures.
Materials I used are scraps of:
5.5 mm ply
10 mm ply
18 mm ply.

Hnkjn.

You only bought " a couple"  ?    [tongue]

This is a slick idea !  Thanks for sharing.  I may….no I will steal this idea!

Eric

P.S  Welcome to the FOG!

Nice setup.  Anyone know if/where the Bessey Tanos systainer and clamps package is available in the US?

Are those longer ones the 8" version? I assume a 12" won;t fit in a standard systainer?

Hi,

  Welcome to the FOG!  [smile]

  Nice work on the Bessey systainer.

  I'd like to see some pictures of those other Festo and Festool ones you mentioned.

Seth

I got so excited seeing your systainer system I forgot to say [welcome] to the FOG!

Thanks everyone for your positive comments; makes me feel "welcome"  [smile] !

@ Thunderchyld
Sorry can't help you with a US supplier

@ Throwback7r
Like elfick says: the insert card comes with the Bessey Tanos systainer and clamps package

@WOW
The Bessey Tanos systainer and clamps package comes with
4x KLI12 120 mm 0.255 kg clamp (4 3/4")
4x KLI16 160 mm 0.235 kg clamp (6 1/4")
4x KLI20 200 mm 0.315 kg clamp (7 7/8")
4x KLI25 250 mm 0.350 kg clamp (10")
As you can see on the pictures 10" is the maximum that will fit.

Thanks for that list. I had looked at the Bessey NA site but only saw those clamps in 4, 8, and 12" lengths. It looks like the 10" KliKlamps and the Systainer are unique to Europe. Same old story.

Probably just as well. If all the items I want that are NAINA suddenly became available I'd be broke - or broke'r'.

[smile]

I have not seen the blue systainer with "Festo" in white before.  [cool] Now I need to track one down.  ::)

I am also still looking for one that was done in all Festool green. Not the mini sys., regular size.
