Best large framing square (other than woodpeckers)

Today I have the typical large steel framing square.  Every so often it gets tweaked to be square again and works for the most part.  I'd really like to have the larger OTT versions for woodpecker bit I missed out on ordering the last time so I have to look elsewhere until/if it comes back around again.

So, what's the next best option?

Thanks

Not sure if you want specifically a square, but if you're open to it woodpecker is currently taking orders on their large OTT (read limited run) precision triangles.

You can order direct from them, or we can order one for you, give us a call if interested.

Thanks for the offer, I ordered a set a week ago.  Downside is I now have to wait like 4-5months.  Like to get something to use between now and then for layout activities.

In the long run, it's worth the wait to purchase proper measurement standards, you being a machinist, you will never regret the wait once the item arrives at your door.

In the mean time just use the 3-4-5  program.

I had some layout stuff to do on some closet cabinets I'm cutting out and found myself always reaching for my woodpecker 12" square because of how nicely it works.  Knowing they've done OTT now twice on it again I'm thinking it may not happen again for some time.  Figured there's a second place but maybe there's not really.

I can get by until the triangles arrive, I'm really just being impatient.

Those are the coolest framing squares I've seen.  Perfect, thank you kindly!
Scorpion,
You can get Chappell squares at Lee Valley. they have the small one, 12x18, and the large one 18x24. I have the 12x18 and it's dead square. Greta for squaring cabinet boxes and rail and stile doors.

They do.  I see that Chappell.com has them on sale for $119 and Lee Valley for $150.  Shipping might just be the great equalizer tho.

Here's an inexpensive option if you want something sooner...

It's received positive reviews here on FOG, particularly for squaring MFT tables.

Lee Valley is currently running free shipping Feb 11 - 22 for $40+ orders
