Best place to get replacement parts

No need to buy the 'original' rods — use threaded rod. Is is a metric size, 6 or 8 mm ( I am currently unable to check…). Advantage: you are not limited by the length.

Yeah, the work as well as the slick ones from FS. (Esp in a cinch… : ))
 
I wouldn't mind to use them in a pinch, but with longer use I would think they'd cut into your router's base.
 
I bought stainless steel in 8mm(? This was for an OF1010, not sure of the OF1400 has the same diameter rods..) to make „custom length“ rods from the local hardware store.
Works great and gives a cheap, but lasting option for any desired length.
