I'm new to Festool having just bought a CT36.  I've found lots of topics on different hose connections, but nothing that seems to address my situation.

I have a Bosch ROS20VSK sander that I'd like to connect to my CT36.  The dust port on the sander is about 1-3/16" in diameter (~30mm).  I have the Bosch VAC002 adaptor that came with the sander, which converts the dust port on the sander to one that is about 1-1/4" ID and 1-1/2" OD.

I'm hoping someone here has this combination and can help me with this connection.

Thanks,
Dave

The hose that came with your CT should just fit over the exhaust port on the Bosch sander. It will be a slightly tight fit since your hose is new but it will fit.

At least mine does 😀

That's what I was hoping would work, but I couldn't make it work on my first couple attempts.  I'll try that again with a little more determination!

I use the Bosch VAC003 adapter connected to the VAC002 adapter that comes with the Bosch ROS20. The 003 in the 002 is a little loose, but it stays in fine when the the vac is running and there's suction.

Thanks.  I was able to get the CT hose on the Bosch sander dust port directly without any adaptors.  It stretches the rubber hose end just a little.

I may look for a VAC003 as well.
