The name part applies to the forum which i think is reasonable as i have been asked to have names removed.
If you need email contact then no problem and of course this is given out when a call is recieved.

Meanwhile a quick phone call cleared things up...only joking, it made it worse. I was given an email address  to use for someone who ignored(?) the email until he/she went on holiday and was told to call back later to speak with another person (bad practice that) regarding the eBay issue.

Sent a PM to you on the above to call me.

I like your dedication Phil, in fact we may even have spoken once on the phone regarding technical details on a boom arm that nobody else seemed to be able to give me the information on. At the time I was surprised I could speak with someone directly and was floored when MTMC gave me a phone number for the person from Festool that could help me out.

I am confident it will all get sorted out, possibly after Christmas too, make no odds because using email means I have a paper-trail to back up any statements or promises made. It's how I prefer to do things for non-urgent matters, so apologies to all those that think we should all just pick up a phone. If I had a problem with a tool I would, absolutely grab the phone, for non-urgent matters it can "fester" [smile] for a while.

I hadn't intended to be critical and if I was I intended it to be constructive criticism. I'm also aware that we can freely speculate as end users and often do so. We might be right some of the time and I'm sure there are other times when you and your colleagues get extremely frustrated when we try to micro analyse a business operation that we don't really understand. However it is the internet where even the uninformed can become experts. We all get to have our 15 minutes of fame.

Do you have something that stands out on your CV that Festool UK recognised as being particularly suitable for dealing with prima donnas? Maybe you all drew straws to see who would take on this role?

  It was constructive criticism and you raise valid points about Festool U.K.
My background is why i do this - trade. I enjoy the conversation and the threads on different subjects along with a desire to aid end users get the best from Festool kit. I also am 100% dedicated to Festool as it is unique [smile]
  As for prima donnas - all some people want is a machine repaired or a reply to an enquiry, that is just being reasonable.

I don't really think we are prima donnas either. I was throwing you an olive branch as I felt you personally were getting some stick. I also don't think anyone on here even begins to doubt your commitment to Festool.

Well picked up the phone today call Festool UK service my future ex wife was on the phone busy helpin other customers but the nice lady who answered offered to have my future ex wife call me back when she gets off the phone.
So I  went with the nice lady handling my call. I needed a small part to a accessory that frankly I reallynthought they wouldn't a
Have and couldn't get. But they were able to source it. So knowing the same issue might happen again in true Jobby fashion I ordered about 4 of them, then I,ordered a selection of small screws for a couple of tools thinking if I dropped one and lost it I'll have a replacement in my personal stock . The entire order couldn't hace come more then £7. She said no worries Festool picked up the tab including shipping them from Germany .
Thanks Festool UK your awesome.  Now the nice is edging my future ex wife for the privilege of becoming jobbies ex wife.

As I mentioned on another thread (Excellent customer service from Festool UK) I phoned them on Friday to ask if they could collect my Kapex for refund to save the dealer collecting it and they agreed. Rachel (from Festool) phoned me today to ask if I needed another box and when I said I'd packed it up already they asked if today would be convenient for collection. I said yes and it was duly collected. They are going to sort out all the paperwork with the dealer.
