Greetings,
Looking for advise on putting a clean slot in solid wood for my glass art. I typically use 1/2 or 3/4 inch glass for my projects. The last few I cut the slot with a track and my OF1400. I cut the slot and then dimensioned the piece to the size I wanted.
I was considering an mfs system as they seem pretty flexible. For smaller pieces the track saw is cumbersome. I have also experimented with the edge guide and it's a bit difficult due to narrow stock.
I am wondering if the slot could be cut on a router table with a guide block and stope set up?
Just thought I'd throw it out there for ideas. I am looking at cutting my labor time down as I sell the bases.
Thanks
Phil
