Another magnet came out of my long bit holder that I got with the centrotec set years ago (not saying it's common! [emoji41])

Is this a warranty thing or should I just epoxy it back in?

It is probably a warranty thing but then again if the epoxy is handy ?

Also I was very curious as to what this post might be based on the title  [wink]

I would go with the epoxy.  You said that the set was several years old.  It is an accessory I believe and as such not part of the three year warranty.

I had the same problem. Tried epoxy, but the residual glue that was in there caused it to fail again a couple of weeks later. You'll have to get most of the old glue out for the epoxy to work. Not sure what would easily get the old glue out.

Maybe find a dowel that fits and glue a scrap of sandpaper on the end?  Chuck the other end in a drill and let 'er spin?  I haven't had it happen, so I admit that this is not a tried suggestion.

I had the same thought...

Wonder if the OP realizes that he can edit his title if he uses the 'modify' button?

The op knows a lot of stuff after 30 years as a software engineer, including knowing how to give up when tapatalk crashes twice on you while trying to edit your post title at lunch . [emoji16]
