Hi Festool experts,
I'm using a Precisio 70 as my main table saw professionally , saving up for a Hammer or Felder table saw and will then use the precisio as my job site saw or at home.
So far so good except that I would like to know how much I can ask for with regards to stability and precision. More precisely regarding blade wobble. I've checked the fixture of the blade and noticed the springy rings behind it so I'm guessing there will always be some tolerance, just would like to know how much is acceptable. I've measured 2/10th of a millimeter today after a bit too much tear out, rotating the fixture for the blade 180 degress brought it back to 1/10th. Measured at the teeth.
Any chance I could bring that back some more?
Btw, I realize I might ask for too much considering it is a portable unit, just want to know how much I can get out of this baby.
Of to bed soon so don't be offended if I'm a bit slow in responding.
Thanks! Bob
