Worked with Class 1 and 2 devices, but have any of you ever even seen a Class 3 device?
Scratch that, I meant Class 1.Mike S said:A Class 3 device would be like the Bluetooth LE devices, like my heart rate monitor straps, the Apple Pencil, and I bet even the Apple Watch.

I figured out how to do it, but it's not straight forward and is going to take some experimenting to finalize it.

For those thinking of the MIDI/MINI...
A plug that that goes in the socket (with a BLE transceiver), could trigger a load that triggers the auto start. I'm only not sure how much load the vac needs to start. The standard remote could then be used (if you can mimic the signal).

I’m a bit late to the chat...
Bought one of the new midis with Bluetooth.
Now trying to figure out how to reverse engineer it so I can use it on my old midi.
Anyone worked it out yet?
Would love it to be Bluetooth and connect to the button remote but maybe has to be rf??
Anyone worked out what load turns on the extractor?
Need to do this!
threesixright said:3. Now you still need to reverse engineer the protocol
