Boom arm deluxe

Hi Michael,

I just discover this thread. Amazing work that you did (as usual)!

I know it may be slightly off-topic but I try to guess what you have built to hold your LS on the wall, apart of the two red angles. Would you be kind enough to show a closer look at this?

best regards,

Thank you for your kind words.
The wall hanger is really nothing special. It's actually being replaced soon with an "under-the-table-hanger". The precious wall space on the photo is now home for my clamp rack.

Here are some close-ups:

The LS hangs on the red holders (be sure to lock the sled on the LS or it will drop to the floor.
The small metal pins acts as steering pins for placing the tall fence on top of the holder.

I have french cleaths all around my shop. On the back of the LS hanger you can see the 45 degree bevel matching the cleaths.

The black thing on the LS is my mounting plate for attaching the LS to my MFT. This plate has nothing to do with the wall hanging.

Many thanks, Michael,

I have a very tiny space as well and will have to find a convenient place to store my new LS when it won't be on the MFT/3

Would you mind showing how exactly you attach your LS to the MFT? I'm spiraling down that path myself and if the wheel has been already invented why do it twice ;-)
