Boom Arm question

I am interested in purchasing the Boom Arm for my Festool Vac.  My local Woodcraft has one in stock with the tool hanger for $325.00.  I have read everywhere that there is not a hose in the package, but the illustrations show the standard hose (I assume the one that came originally with the vacuum) and a short 36mm hose at the bottom.  Does the short 36mm hose come with the Boom Arm?  If not, what length is this hose.  The shortest I have seen in the festool accessory list is 5 meters.  Can you use the larger diameter hose (36mm) for the full extent of the boom arm?  If so, what is the total length?

I have wanted this attachement for 12 months, but if I need to purchase a $93.50 hose, I think I will need to pass. :'(

Any insite from current owners of the boom would be greatly appreciated.  I have a CT 33 with a Hose Garage.

The Boom arm comes with the 5' 50 mm hose. This hose connects to the CT's hose; (either the 36 or 27 mm) and that hose id 1.5'. No need to buy another hose, unless you want to.

You don't need to buy a hose but you do need to buy the $75 handle..

The package he mentioned comes with the Boom Arm, Hanlde, and Tool Holder. The Tool Holder is essentially free.
