Boom arm

  See photo above.  New guy here. Bought my first Festools about a month ago. A mft package, ts55, RO90, and now a domino 500. I have a full cabinet shop so already have a big dust collector and a central vacuum. I've been looking at the boom arm and all the home built possibilities and not wanting to spend $350 I tried to copy the festool design. I took a 3/4" emt conduit bent it at the same angles as the original and fastened it to my clamp rack with half straps. It sits on a block of wood at the bottom. Tied the hose and cord to it with wire ties. It works just like the original but its not portable like the original.
