Over the past few years I've used a number of different brushes for applying varnishes, but I haven't found a brush that I really liked for a variety of reasons. What would you recommend for applying products such as Sikkens Door and Window, Epithanes, etc...

Thanks for recommendation Tom. Picasso's are my favorite brush for interior/exterior waterborne paints, but I've never tried using one to apply varnishes. I'll have to give one a try the next opportunity I get.

I've bought brushes for varnishing from Jamestown Distributing. They're branded as an Epifanes product, but I don't know if they made the brush or it's a rebrand from somebody else.
They hold varnish longer and flow better than a foam brush.

Wooster alpha for varnishes and the proform blaze is by far the best brush on the market for waterborne, beats the Picasso all day long
