I just finished my first epoxy resin top and it's definitely way too glossy. I have zero experience with epoxy and buffing. Anyone have a suggestion on an abrasive pad that would knock the shine down a few levels?

900/1200 grit wet-or-dry may be right?

Scotch bright will likely be too rough, and 0000 steel wool too

I'm going a different route for using that ETS- Platin abrasive from Festool. Good control, even rubbing/abrasive pattern and you can add oil as a slurry medium since the Platin disc won't break down from it.
