Next project. Dust enclosure for a heart of roses. Will hang at wall. Maybe stand on its own? Lots of angles. Dominos......

Have you considered laminating maybe 1/16" strips around an MDF form?  You could probably steam them then bend, clamp and glue them up.

Mark out one side of the heart, flip it and you have the mirror image for the form. 

Just a thought.
